Led Six Flags in significantly reducing claims and litigation by introducing leading-edge safety management processes and integrating safety into all aspects of the business. Designed and implemented Safety Leadership Training program for upper and middle management. Created quantitative methods for measuring safe behavior of ride operations and maintenance personnel.
SAFETY AND RISK MANAGER
SIX FLAGS HOUSTON
Created and published company's first written safety manual. Conducted safety training for management team and front line supervisors. Directed all aspects of safety and regulatory compliance including OSHA / EPA / TNRCC / NFPA / ASTM and the Texas Department of Insurance, Amusement Ride Safety Inspection and Insurance Act.
